How is it calculated?

Naegele’s rule adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the last period. If your cycle differs from 28 days, it is adjusted accordingly.

The calculation is an estimate. Only a first-trimester ultrasound gives an accurate due date. Please contact your doctor.
